As the summer is coming, we start to lust for an ice-cold beverage to cool us down in the heat. Though a lot of the drinks you get from the supermarket or coffee shops, can be full of unnecessary sugars and artificial preservatives that we should only be having on rare occasions.
So I have come up with my first smoothie recipe for all those chocolate lovers out there with a little tropical twist using coconut. Introducing the Coco-loco Smoothie!This is made with natural ingredients that you can blissfully enjoy in the knowledge you are keeping to your healthy balanced lifestyle.
- 1 whole banana
- 200ml almond milk
- 40g Greek yoghurt
- 10g cocoa powder
- 10g desiccated coconut
- 2 tsp choco shot syrup
- handful of ice cubes
- Simply add all of the ingredients together in a blender, mixing until the ice cubes have broken down and you get a wonderful thick consistency.
- Serve in a glass, add toppings if desired, pop in a straw and enjoy!
