Protein Mugcakes


A lot of people commented on Instagram about how I make my mugcakes, so now you can try for yourself! There are so many possibilities  with these beauties, because it is what you choose to make them with, that change the flavour. Just follow the same measurements and switch up the ingredients  and you cannot go wrong!



  • 1 scoop of whey protein (any flavour will do!)
  • 15g flour of choice
  • 1 medium egg
  • 20g Greek yoghurt
  • 25ml milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • Simply mix together all ingredients in a  mug (the bigger the better!)
  • Microwave for about 1 minute and check to see if it is risen up. If still undercooked, go for another 20 seconds at a time until done
  • Top with what ever you desire!

I have created different variations of this recipe, which have added extras in to switch the flavours up!

The pumpkin mug cake was created by adding in 50g pumpkin puree and some cinnamon and nutmeg (seen in top photo)

This double chocolate version was using 5g-10g cocoa powder with an extra 25ml milk, depending on how rich you want the chocolate flavour
